Women In Leadership Conference: Strategy for Success. Held on 24th JUNE 2016 at The Grosvenor, 101 Buckingham Palace Road, London, SW1W 0SJ.
In its inaugural event on July 30, 2015, Savvy Women’s Circle started a global conversation on women’s leadership. The key objective of the conference is to support more women into leadership roles. It assembles a dynamic group of women entrepreneurs, senior executives, community and political leaders from an array of industries, disciplines, managerial backgrounds, and cultures.
In the flagship event held at The Grosvernor Hotel Victoria, much of the talk was centred on creating opportunities for women by collaborating with industry stakeholders as part of Vision 2050, a platform for dialogue, sponsored by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Highlights of the conversation include strategies to end gender pay gap—an issue spearheaded by David Cameron—and exploration of opportunities for collaboration to bring Vision 2050 to fruition.
The conference was chaired by Baroness Howells and topics for discussions includes: Positioning Yourself as a Leader – Tools for Confidence & Resilience delivered by Dr Yvonne Thompson MBE FRSA,
